Breaking news: Seahawks Will Sign New Linebacker
The Seattle Seahawks-Oakland Raiders Northwestern Pipeline continues to be open for business.
The latest former player to possibly switch sides could be linebacker David Bass. Of course, Bass had made a few other stops on his way.
The former seventh-round pick in 2013 by the Oakland Raiders is scheduled to visit the Seahawks, per NFL Draft Diamonds. Along with the Raiders, Bass has played for the Chicago Bears and Tennessee Titans. Most recently, he appeared in 13 games for the Titans in 2016, where he amassed 16 tackles.
In four seasons of work, he has 85 tackles, 5.5 sacks, five passes defended and two interceptions.
The Seahawks seem to be set at linebacker but could be looking for more veteran help on special teams. Head coach Pete Carroll mentioned last Thursday that they were pleased with the additions to special teams they had already made in making it a more experienced group.
Bass could be another fit in that regard.
