The Packers have traded outside linebacker Jayrone Elliott to the Dallas Cowboys as indicated by ESPN Cowboys beat writer Todd Archer. In return Archer reports the Packers will receive a 2018 restrictive seventh round pick.
This past offseason Elliott chose to return to the Packers on a one-year deal worth $1.6 million instead of signing a multi-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Elliott played in three of the four preseason games however has as of late been hankered by back spasms.
